Coating Removal by Grinding
WHY GRINDING INSTEAD OF STRIPPING?
Stripping off existing floor coatings is mainly done when you only wish to remove the sealer or paint coating but want to leave the stamp texture or decorative pattern intact. However for those who want to start over with a fresh canvas, grinding is the right option! Whether you are no longer happy with the stamp texture or pattern on your floor and want to have a different stamp pattern installed or if you are a traditional floor installer that wants VCT glue or thin set/ mortar removed. No problem! We have all the right tools for the job regardless of size and our grinding process can be used for commercial or residential applications.
Is Grinding Messy?
With the right combination of grinder and dust collector, the mess we leave on the floor and surrounding areas is small. Nothing that can’t be washed off after completing the project. What about the air? We use pro commercial dust collectors with heavy duty heap filters that insures the air quality remains unaffected. You also don’t have to worry about us filling up your trash cans. Any bags of dust collected from the grinder(s) will be hauled off by us. For big jobs, we can have a trash container brought in and hauled off.
